The University of Naples Federico II, thanks to an agreement signed with the International Welcome Desk, offers support to international visitors in obtaining an Italian tax code through a dedicated app.
1. Registration and document upload
After downloading the app, register and upload the following documents:

Passport or ID card

University admission letter
(Erasmus students may upload a screenshot of the admission confirmation email)
⚠️ Note: You cannot apply for the tax code until your profile has been verified.
2. Tax code application
Once your profile is verified, you can apply for your tax code by uploading:

Passport or ID card
-
Admission letter
-
Visa (for non-EU students)
-
A photo of your handwritten signature on a blank sheet of paper
3. Processing and delivery
After submission, your request will be processed and sent to the Italian Tax Agency. Please allow a few weeks. Once ready, your tax code will be available directly in the app.

External examiners for the final doctoral examination
Once they have obtained their Italian tax code, members of the Examination Board must consult the Accounting Office page for instructions and procedures to follow for reimbursement.
